Principal
Mr. Benjamin Hussey is Principal of the Management, Operations and Administration (MOA) Division at the Institute for Security Governance (ISG). In this role, Mr. Hussey oversees ISG activities in the areas of Finance, Contracting, Operations, and Communications and Outreach.
Prior to his role at ISG, Mr. Hussey was the Operations Manager for the Leader Development and Education for Sustained Peace (LDESP) Program at the Center for Civil-Military Relations (CCMR). In this capacity, he managed finance, logistics, and operations in support of LDESP activities. LDESP provided graduate level education to senior US leaders prior to deployment to theaters of operations.
Mr. Hussey's previous experience includes 30 years of military service in the US Army and Oregon National Guard. He commanded at platoon, battery, battalion levels as well as served as the Post Commander of Camp Rilea Oregon.
Mr. Hussey has a BA from Corbin University in Management and Communication. He and his wife, Heather have 5 children.
