Mr. David Antonik deployed to Vilnius, Lithuania in August 2021 to support the Lithuanian Military of Defense on strategic logistics matters.
Prior to becoming an Advisor to the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense, Mr. Antonik served as the Deputy Branch Head and Supply Section Head, Ground Material Management Branch, G-4 Division, Fleet Marine Forces Atlantic / U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command. His responsibilities include fielding, sustainment, and life cycle management of ground equipment for U.S. Marine Corps Service retained forces.
Mr. Antonik has served the Marine Corps for over 33 years as a commissioned officer and civil servant. As a company grade officer, he served as a Platoon Commander, Company Commander, and Battalion Operations Officer for direct support logistics units. His field grade officer experiences include headquarters assignments at the Marine Expeditionary Force (logistics), Marine Service Component (operations & plans), and Headquarters Marine Corps (manpower). His combat operational deployments include Operations Restore Hope - Somalia, Operations Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom - Afghanistan. He retired in 2015 after 27 years of service.
Mr. Antonik is a graduate of the U.S. Marine Corps Command and Staff College and the U.S. Army War College. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University, Master of Science degrees from Capitol College and the U.S. Army War College.
