Kathleen Peggar - Institute for Security Governance
Kathleen Peggar is the Program Manager for the International Defense Acquisition Resource Management (IDARM) Program within the School of International Graduate Studies at NPS. She joined the IDARM Program in January 2004 and has a strong international security cooperation background, having implemented numerous courses, conferences and seminars for IDARM’s global customers in various locations throughout the world. In addition to her work with IDARM, she has been part of the Defense Institution Building Management Team, supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the U.S. European Command in planning, developing and executing defense institution building activities in Europe. She also spent two years at EUCOM Headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany.
Prior to beginning her employment with NPS, Ms. Peggar lived in Alaska, where she oversaw five statewide community and economic development programs based in rural Alaskan villages. Ms. Peggar speaks fluent Spanish and Italian. She holds an honors degree in Economics from Harvard University, and earned her M.A. in International Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University.
