Ms. Kathleen Peggar is the Program Manager for the International Defense Acquisition Resource Management (IDARM) Program within ISG. She joined the IDARM Program in January 2004 and has a strong international security cooperation background, having implemented numerous courses, conferences and seminars for IDARM’s global customers in various locations throughout the world.
In addition to her work with IDARM, Ms. Peggar worked as part of the Defense Institution Building Management Team, supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense and US European Command in planning, developing and executing defense institution building activities in Europe. She also spent two years at EUCOM Headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany.
Prior to beginning her employment with the Naval Postgraduate School and the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), Ms. Peggar lived in Alaska, where she oversaw five statewide community and economic development programs based in rural Alaskan villages. She has also lived and worked in Italy and Ecuador, and co-authored two travel guides, Let's Go: Mexico and Let's Go: Australia.
Ms. Peggar graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a degree in Economics and an additional certificate in Latin American Studies from Harvard's David Rockefeller Center. She also studied economics and development at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador in Quito, and earned her MA in International Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University. She speaks Spanish and Italian.
