The CCMR Exercises team has completed planning for the 2016 US-India ‘Yudh Abhyas’ exercise. Yudh Abhyas, which means ‘preparing for war’ in Hindi, is the largest bilateral exercise conducted between India in the United States. Under the sponsorship of US Army Pacific, the CCMR team has supported military staff training for the exercise since 2010.

This year the exercise will be hosted at the Chaubatia hill station in the Himalaya foothills. The CCMR team will facilitate US-Indian combined brigade staff training on full-spectrum combined arms maneuver in a peace operations context.
