Country Clearance
What Is a Country Clearance Request?
A country clearance request (sometimes referred to as a CCR or just a "country clearance") is a mandatory memorandum which requests formal approval to enter a foreign country in order to conduct official US government business. International travel cannot take place without an approved country clearance. How Does This Apply to Travelers?
An ISG POC (Point of Contact) will send a list of personalized travel requirements via email based on the traveler’s nationality (US or foreign national) and destination country. This email includes information on completion of forms and online trainings, and submission of personal/travel details. This page provides instruction on how to complete the necessary travel requirements. Travelers must finish these requirements no later than 30 days in advance of travel. If a 30 day lead time is unable to be met, please complete the training requirements immediately.Required Online Trainings
