Resident Advisor
Ms. Tracy Traylor deployed to Bucharest, Romania in October 2020 to support the Romanian Ministry of National Defense (MND) in their establishment of cyber operations doctrine, policies, and procedures that enable the training, sustainment, and resourcing of cyber forces to meet Romanian Cyber Defense requirements.
Prior to joining the MoDA program, Ms. Traylor served as Chief, Cyber Security Center, DISA, JSP, Pentagon. As Chief, Cyber Security Center, and Chief, Information Security Officer (CISO), Ms. Traylor serves as a trusted Cyber Security advisor to the JSP leadership on risk management, operations, legal and regulatory compliance and policy. She is responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy and cyber security program to ensure assets and technologies are protected and risks are mitigated to an acceptable level.
Ms. Traylor began her federal career in Bad Kreuznach, Germany with the 102nd Signal Battalion, 2nd Signal BDE, 5th Signal Command as the Director of Information Management (DOIM). Follow on assignments include Information System Officer, HQs Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Ft. Monroe, VA, Regional Chief, Information Officer, US Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division, Dallas TX, Chief, Identity Management Division, Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) Chief Information Office (CIO) G6, Deputy Director Enterprise Information and Mission Assurance Directorate, Information Technology Agency (ITA), Pentagon, Deputy Chief, Service Delivery Center, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Service Provider.
Ms. Traylor is a 2014 graduate of the US Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, PA, and holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems.
