ISG Hosts Cyber Security Capacity Building Forum

The Institute for Security Governance hosted a Cyber-focused Forum to advance the development of DoD-capabilities to support partner country cybersecurity requirements. The online event brought together more than 80 cybersecurity capacity building stakeholders from across the Department of Defense—including each of the Geographic Combatant Commands and United States Cyber Command—the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Participants heard from, and participated in a Q&A with, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber Policy, Thomas Wingfield. Presentations, discussions, and active participation added critical input to cyber practitioner tools that are under development to further enable DoD’s cyber capacity building efforts.
