The Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) is applying for reaffirmation of accreditation with the Commission of the Council on Occupation Education. Persons wishing to make comments should either write to the Executive Director of the Commission, Council on Occupational Education, 7840 Roswell Road, Building 300, Suite 325, Atlanta, Georgia 30350, or submit their comments through the Council’s website (www.council.org). Persons making comments must provide their names and mailing addresses.
DSCU faculty and staff train and educate the Security Cooperation enterprise in support of the national security objectives and America’s allies and partners. As the Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) and Security Cooperation mission evolve, so do the quantity and quality of resident and non-resident programs offered to meet these requirements.
To help DSCU provide the high-quality training and education that the enterprise demands, DSCU maintains institutional accreditation through the Council on Occupational Education (COE), which provides the standards and criteria most appropriate to DSCU’s mission and the professional development needs of the workforce. Through its standards, COE assures “quality and integrity in the career and technical education” of its members in a student-focused process that aligns the University’s activities with workforce demands.
DSCU has maintained institutional accreditation with the Council on Occupational Education (COE) since 2001.
