REG-201 Working Across Cultures for Security Cooperation Practitioners

REG-201, Working Across Cultures for Security Cooperation Practitioners, is a self-paced 3-hour online training (OLT) course. One of four core education and training courses at the practitioner level, REG-201 is designed to offer participants strategies to effectively communicate, collaborate, and cultivate relationships when working across cultures. Using scenarios informed by real-world examples, this course will enable participants to sharpen their interpretations of foreign partner behavior, identify obstacles to building relationships, and apply effective communication techniques that bridge cultural gaps. Participants will be guided through course content accompanied by interactive activities to enhance the learning experience.

At the end of the course, students will have two opportunities to achieve an 80% or better on the final multiple-choice assessment to receive their certificate of completion. In addition, participants are also asked to complete the course evaluation at the end of the course to provide valuable feedback on course design, content, and instruction. Upon completion of the course, students will receive an email from CSOD with links to both the course evaluation and the certificate of completion.
