DSCU is the Department of Defense’s primary Security Cooperation educational institution. Its mission is to advance the knowledge and practice of Security Cooperation through education, training, workforce development, advising, research, analysis, and lessons learned.

DSCU’s Title 10 U.S. Code Section 384 mandated mission prepares the U.S. Security Cooperation workforce and partner nations to deter aggression. The DSCU cross-functional team:

Trains and educates the U.S. Security Cooperation workforce

Manages and provisions Institutional Capacity Building services executed by the DOD

Manages and implements international military training and education Security Cooperation programs and authorities
executed by the DOD

Advances the profession of Security Cooperation through research, data collection, analysis, publication, and learning

Executes the professional development program for the U.S. Security
Cooperation workforce
